PRIVACY POLICY OF THE DENTAL/MEDICAL CLINIC OF MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY BEOGRAD-CENTER
At the first visit, during the operation and at the follow-up examination, our surgeon, in agreement with the patient, may decide to take a photo the teeth, mouth, parts of the face or the whole face from multiple perspectives, depending on the anatomical region the patient complains about or where he assumes there is a problem.
Photographs are an integral part of the clinical examination, operative protocol and follow-up examinations. They serve for more precise diagnostics, quality control of therapy, as well as a forensic medical document related to the entire course of treatment and its results.
The patient’s photos, as well as his entire medical documentation, are kept in the premises of the Beograd-Centar and are only available to the medical staff.
Photographs and patient information are protected by the following laws of the Republic of Serbia:
- The Law on Health Care (Paragraph 2, Article 73, which guarantees confidentiality of data from patients’ medical records);
- by the Law on the Protection of Patients’ Rights (Article 14, Article 20);
- The Law on the Protection of Personal Data (Article 16).
By signing at the end of the submitted Questionnaire, the patient consents to photography as an integral part of the diagnostic and therapeutic procedure.
